Check it out :)

Only 4 weeks to go….man that went fast. This will be our last baby….he or she will make four.

Not only am I knitting together a little one in my belly and trying to enjoy these last few weeks…I’m also a new homeowner. So..yes..I will be packing and moving the same week that I should be giving birth!

Hopefully after all the dust has settled and everyone is adjusted to the new digs I will be able to get back to knitting. I really really want to knit and finish a full size sweater. It’s been my goal for what….three years now? We will see how that goes. I have my eye on the February Lady Sweater and the cute cute cute Little Miss Muffett pattern from Zephyr Style for my almost 3 year old.

Easy…quick…able to nurse while knitting…I hope.

Well anyway..Happy Halloween everyone! Hope you get lots of sweets! I can’t have any…bummer. :)

Well I’m back! I know it’s been a little while. It has taken a little while for me to get used to the graveyard shift.(I’m still having a little trouble)It is getting easier though. On my off-days I have been squeezing in time to knit. My newest project is Mosey from Knitty.

Cutesy little legwarmers knit with Patons Classic Merino. I’m knitting with grey and  I’m  only at the eyelets so when I get further I’ll add a pic.

March Rockin Sock Club 2008

This is LUCKY…The March Shipment. Now,Green really isn’t a good color for me but I will say..I DO LIKE IT and I WILL KNIT WITH IT.

The pattern that comes with is called Leafling By JC Briar.

I think they are both beautiful…and this is def a knit where I can see myself using both the yarn and pattern together.

Other Yarny Goodness I thought I’d share is 2 skeins I picked up just because I needed  wanted more in the stash!

Now While I am happy with the way these turned out I dyed with the steaming method and it’s just not what I prefer. To each their own I guess.Back to my batch dying with Jacquard.

Ok enough yarny pics for today…I’m off to fill the kids Easter Baskets while they sleep. I do have to work tomorrow night so Easter will be early in the day. No sleep for mommy!

Happy Easter to any and Everyone :)

I’m happy to report that I FINALLY received a callback from my new employer! This is just wonderful! It’s not the part time job with the shipping company but a Full time position with another company with Full Benefits! (we really needed that) I was seriously on Pins and Needles waiting for a call,it feels so good to know I am able to help my husband with the bills, tuition for the kids and possibly buying a new house within the next year. I’m sooo doing the happy dance!

In knitting news I’ve been clicking away at a few things but I do not have photos. My desktop PC is in for repairs, and thats the computer that I transfer my photos too. (I lost the camera cord) It has that neat-o thingy on the front where I just pop in the memory card…no wires needed.

Anyway..I also received my Last shipment of the Rockin Sock Club. Colorway Bella Coola. (you can find pics of the yarn on Flickr) I’m not usually a blue yarn kind of girl but I really like it! That’s what I love most about the Rockin Sock Club…yarns and Patterns I wouldn’t usually buy or try. I’m bad though,NONE of the patterns that were sent to me were knit up. I only liked one or two,but I loved all the yarns. Even if this year was just for stash enhancement….I’m not ashamed. I went back and forth trying to decide if I should join again this year and just went for it. A little more STR never hurts….right?

So Second Sock Syndrome is in FULL EFFECT. I have managed to knit up 2 socks. One with Socks that Rock Flower Power in the Jaywalker pattern by Grumperina.

The other is with Fleece Artist in that ugly black and green colorway I tried knitting this summer. :)

I’m also working on a Log Cabin Quilt for my friend Naomi who finally had her son! All 9 pounds of him. I have about 8 more rounds I’d like to get done then I can give it to her to wrap him up! I’m knitting it with Sugar & Cream Cotton with Red,Blue,Orange and White.

It’s taking about all the willpower I have to not cast on a new sock with the Bella Coola.

Oh by the way. My birthday was on the 5th and I got the best present ever!!!! Sock Yarn. Araucania Rancho Multi. Color 303. Pinks and Reds of course.

I wanted to try something new and this really is.Not as bright as I like but still….Love it :)
Well Happy New Year to everyone that takes the time to read my little blog. May this year be much better than the last.

I’m out …Lot’s to get prepared as I start work Wednesday!
