Not much knitting going on. I’ve been working on a mini monkey for a little bit. As soon as I finished my sockpal’s socks I cast on.
I’m knitting with STR Rhodonite in lightweight.
I’ve tried to knit a pair of Jaywalkers with this yarn about 4 times but I never followed through.Things are coming along quite nicely with the mini’s.
I love this pattern. Cookie sure knows how to put together a fun knit!

I love love love the color…the pattern not so much. I haven’t knit any of the patterns that have been sent in the kits but I enjoy all the yarn. I may knit a few,or not. We shall see.
It’s been so hot here in the Cincy area,100 degrees the past two days. Talk about hot. Ugg…and sticky. Not really great wool knitting weather.
Hopefully things will cool off a little.

Finally! Whew!
My sock pals socks are finished. 
(hmmmm…looks like my camera lens needs some cleaning)
I decided that the fleece artist socks weren’t going so well.So,I got out the trusty STR and got to knitting a pair of monkeys.
This is the first time I’ve ever made a pair of socks with this pattern and If I do say so myself ,they turned out great! I love them,I want to keep them for myself.
I hope my pal likes them,more than that,I hope they fit. They are in the colors she mentioned,minus yellow
