Knitting Fix

Hello

My laptop Broke.The little pin inside the place that you put the powercord snapped.I guess it was bent and I didn’t know it. Good thing it is still under warranty! I’m also getting my keys fixed. The Period key and the X key fell off. How generic are GATEWAYS? I DO NOT recommend buying one at all. I have to send it off to Gateway and it will be at least a week before I get it back. For tonight anyway I’m borrowing my moms laptop.

As for knitting. I stopped by KNIT ON today and picked up another size 2 Addi Turbo.I wanted to try knitting a sock with two circulars.It was okay. I guess I still like the magic loop better.
You should see the house cat at Knit On. The most GORGEOUS long haired Calico. Of course I can’t remember her name right now but she is so pretty,and has quite the personality of a diva! I’ll try to snap a pic of her the next time I stop by.
I was also able to eye some beautiful Lornas Laces that was just calling my name. Next time,Next time.
I really think I need to go alone,or with a friend that gets it. LOL I need to spend about an hour in there,browsing,deciding what I want to get. I’m always in a hurry,or have a little one trying to open packages or slam doors.
I saw some beautiful laceweights.They would be great for the Lace Leaf pattern I bought this summer. I want it to be the right yarn though. I may go with something thicker to get done faster.

Yep that’s it. I have about 7 projects sitting waiting to be finished.

It’s been soooo long since I have updated. I know,I suck.
I’m not lying when I say that I have hardly knit all summer.
I finished a few hats,no socks like I wanted.
I did get the spinning wheel and I LOVE it.IT was in wonderful condition. It still is,I even stained it as once something got spilled on it. UGG!
I promise to update more often now that it is Fall and it’s getting cold outside. As much as I wanted to knit,and it was always calling for me. I never had the time.

Dh started a new job,so hopefully I’ll have a little more cash laying around for Roving. I’ll try to update more often with my creations.
